According to a survey, more than one-fifth of vehicles on the road were operating on engine oil that needs to be changed or is in too small a quantity to be effective over a long period of time. Additionally, close to 20and of automobiles had air filters that were no longer clean.
But these are not the only issues that need to be resolved in cars. About 20% of them did not have proper engine cooling, and 18% of the cars in the survey contained poor brake fluid. Overall, more than 75% of vehicles included in the survey required car repair services or some other maintenance that can be readily found at car repair shops.
Fortunately there are about 86,597 auto repair shops in America, and a total of approximately 537,746 professional mechanics in the industry. When looking for the right shop to take your business, you’ll want to make sure that you do a thorough job of comparing prospective auto repair costs.
Finding a reasonable price is critical, especially when you consider that if you go to an untrustworthy mechanic, he or she may try to overcharge you for standard procedures or add more repairs than your car actually needs.
